Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill: 1995-04-13 House Journal Page 1320 HB 127 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 127(JUD) "An Act relating to penalties for certain offenses committed against a peace officer, fire fighter, correctional employee, emergency medical technician, paramedic, ambulance attendant, or other emergency responders." There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB127(JUD) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 127(JUD) was read the third time. The following members moved and asked unanimous consent that they be allowed to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest: Representative Porter Representative Ogan Objection was heard and the members were required to vote.
